What’s a filling snack that’s quick and easy before you get ready for online practice or homework? Hard boiled eggs are protein packed and when you remove the yoke, they have little pockets ready to fill with delicious fixings. Here are three of our favorite fillers:
Hard Boiled Egg + Roasted Red Peppers
Pop out the yoke, and fill in the little pocket with roasted red peppers for a spicy, yet refreshing afternoon snack. If that’s too spicy, smash the yoke and mix it with the red peppers.
Hard Boiled Egg + Salsa
Remove the yoke and fill the pocket of the hard boiled egg with your favorite salsa. It’s much healthier than chips! For more protein, add some black beans or a bean and corn based salsa!
Hard Boiled Egg + Tuna Salad
