resuLts:

Mostly As: Your love language type is Gifts. To you, gifts are physical, visible expressions of love. You feel loved when you’re given a gift as a demonstration of affection and you love people best by presenting them with presents that are meaningful. Significant gifts require thought, genuine care and special consideration for the other person. Be careful to: Make sure you’re not giving out of obligation or with the intention to manipulate a person to get what you want.

Mostly Bs: Your love language type is Quality Time. Spending intentional, meaningful time with a loved one is important to you. Someone giving their time to connect with you is precious and you show love to others by pursuing them to spend time with you and having the chance to relate more intimately. Be careful to: Not overwhelm your loved ones and push them to constantly spend meaningful time with you. Give others space when they may need it and don’t feel down if your loved ones need alone-time.

Mostly Cs: Your love language is Words of Affirmation. You feel most loved and wanted when someone speaks words of approval and affection to you. You express love to others with encouraging words and praise. Be careful to: Avoid saying words that you don’t mean. Be kind and gentle, but stay true to who you are and keep away from insincerity.

Mostly Ds: Your love language is Physical Touch. Hugs, kisses, back rubs, pats and physical closeness are signs of endearment to you, and you use these ways to reach out and build connections with others. Be careful to: Take into consideration others’ boundaries. Many people feel uncomfortable around extremely affectionate individuals, so make sure you keep in mind your loved ones’ levels of comfort.

Mostly Es: Your love language type is Acts of Service. When your friends and family help you in some way, you understand those actions as expressions of love. Devoting your time and energy to serving others is your way of conveying affection. Be careful to: Always give and act out of love and with a sincere heart. You should never serve someone else simply to gain favor or reverence.

No matter what love language describes you best, remember that not everyone will share that expression of love, and exercising all the love languages will help you show your loved ones how much they mean to you. Start viewing your friends through a new lens, trying to pinpoint their love language and expressing your gratitude for them in that way. Also, when you’re feeling unloved by someone you truly care about, think about how they treat you and keep in mind that they may understand love differently than you. If you’re feeling awkward utilizing a love language different from your own, remember that sometimes being uncomfortable promotes growth and someday you may need all five love languages to show those you care about just how much you love them.
